OUR VETERINARIAN

Dr. Benjamin
Dr. Brian Benjamin, Medical Director
Dr. Brian Benjamin earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine and has over 34 years of experience in small animal medicine. In 2003, he opened Ohio Drive Animal Hospital and continues to serve as the Medical Director, leading a team dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for pets.

His special interests include pain management, emergency and critical care, pet dentistry, geriatric medicine, endocrinopathies, and the treatment of chronic ear infections. Dr. Benjamin prioritizes creating a positive experience for both clients and patients, ensuring pets receive a flexible, individualized approach designed to make visits as stress-free as possible. He is also committed to a collaborative approach, working closely with local specialists and the broader veterinary community to support the highest standard of care to your pets.

Karen
Dr. Karen Morchower, DVM
Dr. Karen Morchower earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University and has over fifteen years of experience in small animal medicine. She incorporates Fear Free principles to help create a calm, positive experience for pets and their families. From a young age, Dr. Morchower knew she wanted to care for animals, and she brings that lifelong dedication to treating each patient as though they were her own.

Over the years, she has developed a strong interest in dermatology and enjoys helping pets with chronic skin and allergy concerns feel more comfortable. She is also passionate about supporting senior pets through their later years and values the advancements in veterinary medicine that allow older animals to live more comfortably and with less pain.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Morchower enjoys staying engaged in the aspects of veterinary medicine that inspire her most, including dermatology and senior pet wellness.
